Pomiędzy światłem a cieniem, sławą a zapomnieniem. Twórczość nagrodzonej za Autoportret srebrnym medalem na paryskim Salonie w 1887 roku malarki warta jest bliższego poznania. To przede wszystkim świetne portrety, ale nie tylko.
Słoneczna Bretonia Bilińskiej to nasza kolejna świetlista wyprawa po światłach wielkiego miasta Pissarro. Na obrazie we wnętrzu panuje mrok, ale tuż za progiem rządzi słońce. W mojej wersji zamiast domu wśród zieleni jest miejska kawiarnia. Zaczęłam od rysunku. Jego dopracowanie pozwoliło mi sprecyzować pomysł i kompozycję pracy. Tym razem to światło tworzy linie i podziały, wydobywa zarysy postaci z ciemnego tła. Obraz jest dopiero rozpoczęty i ma szkicowy charakter.
Proponuję zagruntować podobrazie na ciemno lub użyć ciemnego papieru i skupić się na malowaniu/ rysowaniu jasnymi tonami. Stopniowo wprowadzać kolejne rozświetlone elementy. Between light and shadow, fame and oblivion. The work of the painter awarded with the silver medal at the Salon in Paris in 1887 is worth a closer look. These are great portraits, but not only.
Bilińska’s sunny Brettany is our next luminous expedition after the lights of the great city of Pissarro. On the painting the interior is dark, but just outside the door is a kingdom of sun. In my version, instead of a house among the greenery, there is a city cafe. I started with drawing. Developing it allowed me to specify the idea and composition of the work. This time it is the light that creates lines and divisions, brings out the silhouettes of the characters from the dark background. The painting is just started and has a sketchy character.
I suggest you prime canvas with the dark colors or use dark paper and then paint / draw by adding light tones. Gradually introduce more illuminated elements.
