Enigmatyczna postać na obrazie zdaje się mieć nieludzkie moce i… melancholijną naturę - jak jej twórca. Siła i słabość dopełniają się jak dzień i noc. Kim jest? Na co czeka? Świat wokół zdaje się emanować z jej wnętrza. Nie dostrzega jego piękna, jej wzrok jest nieobecny.
Mierzący 116 x 214 cm obraz jest namalowany olejami. Artysta często używał szpachli do nakładania farby dzięki czemu szczególnie otoczenie postaci ma witrażowych charakter. Również użyłam szpachli do malowania akrylami. Tylko szkic i niewielką postać wykonałam pędzlem. Może widoczna na nim postać to demon Vrubla? Doszedł do celu, ale wie, że trzeba iść dalej? Praca powstała bardzo spontanicznie.

Sentimental mood
The enigmatic figure in the painting seems to have inhuman powers and… melancholic nature - just like its author. Strength and weakness complete each other like day and night. Who is he/she? What's waiting for? The world around seems to emanate from him/her. Lost in thoughts she/he doesn’t see its beauty. Measuring 116 x 214 cm, the picture is painted with oils. The artist often used a palette-knife to apply paint, thanks to which the surroundings of the demon have a stained glass character. I also used a palette-knife for painting with acrylics. I made only a sketch and a small figure with a brush. Maybe the painted figure is a Vrubel’s demon? Although the goal was reached, he/she knows it’s time to move on? The work was created very spontaneously. I am curious what intrigues and inspires you in the Vrubel’s painting.
